Secret places
Ever watch a Dexter’s laboratory and he just pulls a book from his shelf and voila, his laboratory shows up?
I’ve always wanted to have something like that.
Not cause I have something dirty to hide or anything like that, but just cause it’d be cool.
Anyways, I found this -

Hidden Wall Safe
A hidden wall safe! it sells for about 8 bucks and it’s a pretty neat idea. It comes with a cutout saw and a template with supposedly easy instructions… but I wouldn’t be all too sure if I wanted to cut a hole in my wall.
There’s always the old book trick -

But this thing costs 35 dollarsto buy! I’m a college student though so I have a lot of time on my hands since it’s the summer and I found instructions on how to make one.
Here’s one way to do it if you have a scroll saw – http://www.alpharubicon.com/prepinfo/makingbooksaferh.htm
And here’s a way with an exacto knifeĀ -
Colored Bubbles
Yes, that’s right, I said it -
COLORED bubbles!
(from Zubbles)
Why settle for plain, old, clear ones when some genius made colored bubbles!
They come in a variety of colors that are remarkably vivid. Now, I may be 19, but I’m still getting some the moment they’re released. There’s no set launch date yet but hopefully it’ll be soon.
Man these kids nowadays sure are lucky.

Asus 1000HA Review
I’ve had this laptop for a while now, in fact, I’m writing this blog from the 1000HA itself. (Of course you say, don’t be so sure! I have another one, a Fujitsu, and a desktop, with access to two other HP laptops to boot) It’s a nice little laptop, great for portability, and thus, great for business travel and taking with you around college campus.
The sound isn’t all that great, like on most laptops and even at the max level, sounds super small. My biggest complaint is that there’s no light to tell you that the caps lock button is pushed down or not, seems like not a big deal but it drives me crazy whenever I have to type in a password and it keeps on telling me I typed it in wrong. The screen is reasonable, I haven’t ever been a big fan of having to side scroll to see the rest of a website on a small screen, but I can live. Another complaint is that if you have the laptop in a bag with some heavy stuff, like text books, is that the area around the screen will rub against the keyboard. If you have enough pressure then it might cause scratches on your screen. Not cool. But in spite of all the complaints, the keyboard is quite nice, not much smaller than a standard one, except for the right Shift and Control key.
I would personally recommend it to others, it’s got 160 GB for the hard drive, which is impressive for something this small but by no means compare to a TB and also, 1 GB of RAM, which is great for XP, and an excellent battery life, about 4 hours for me, with WiFi. All for about 350 dollars, depending on where you look.
